This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of K12, the leader in online education for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you have a child that will be entering Kindergarten soon but not sure how to prepare them?

My daughter will be entering in the fall and to prepare her, she is enrolled in a Pre-K program that my oldest already went through. However, the first time around required a lot of research on my husband’s and my part. In addition, before my oldest even went off to Pre-K, I was combing the internet for educational activities and ideas to ready him for the first step into school.

K¹²—the leader in K through 12 online education—has made this process easier by developing a program for early learners called EmbarK¹².

K¹² Inc. is the nation’s foremost provider of proprietary technology-powered online solutions for students in pre-kindergarten through high school. They have partnered with more than 2,000 school districts and has delivered more than 4 million courses over the past decade.

EmbarK¹² is available in 2 parts including EmbarK¹² Comprehensive and EmbarK¹² Online.

EmbarK12 Comprehensive is a program that has 1,200 age-appropriate activities that engage children through a wide variety of interactive multimedia and hands-on materials.  There are more than 288 hours of activities in all. It can be used as a primary preschool program or supplemental to your current one.

The program includes:

– 450+ online activities

– 750+ hands-on activities plus required materials

– 18 thematic units with six subjects: language arts, math, science, social studies, art, and music

EmbarK¹² Comprehensive is $286/year for a 12-month subscription.

EmbarK12 Comprehensive- Online and hands-on preschool program for your early learner.

EmbarK12 Online has 830+ online activities with 12 units of activities, each with related content and activities, covering Math, Language and Literacy, and topics from the world around them. It also has music, songs, videos, and friendly activities that keep children engaged.

EmbarK¹² Online is $59 for a 12-month subscription. For a limited time receive a 50 % off discount with special promo code EmbarkSpecial for a total savings of $29.50.

EmbarK12 Online – Over 830 interactive activities to engage your preschooler.

Is your child getting ready to enter Kindergarten?  If so, what steps have you taken to prepare them?

If you want to see how these programs work, I encourage you to visit Kindergarten readiness programs by K12. Try a sample activity today.

I’m glad to see there are programs like this around to help make the journey to Kindergarten easier.

I'm already thinking about preparing the twins for school, even though they are only 14 months old. It's never to early and the more we can do at home, the better prepared they will be!

Sounds wonderful. My kids are 17 & 19 yo and I wish they had a subscription like this when they were younger. I will share it with my cousins who have little ones about to go to Kindergarten. Thanks!

My kids are older, ages 14 and 18. It would have been nice to have different options to consider when they were entering K.

Great program to help kids be ready! It's amazing how fast they catch up though even if they start the preschool not quite ready.

My little boy is 3 years old and this would be great for him. I'm not a homeschooler, but I do love being his teacher on weekends and evenings when he's home. This sounds like fun for us to use together.

This sounds like such a great tool. It always amazes me how much little ones are supposed to learn before they even begin school.

Preparing your child for kindergarten these days is a must. I taught kindergarten for 5 years and those students who had been exposed to hands on materials early on stood out from the rest.

I really LOVE the books and manipulatives that come with this program. I think I'd buy it just for that.
