The following is a sponsored post on behalf of Kohl’s Cares. Opinions expressed are that of my own.
Want to make a difference in a child’s life when you shop?
Now through the end of June, Kohl’s is offering a Deborah Diesen Collection to benefit the Kohl’s Cares philanthropic program.
Look in stores for a display with the “The Pout-Pout Fish” and “The Pout-Pout Fish in the Big-Big Dark” along with coordinating plush toys and a matching tote bag. Each costs $5 and 100% of Net Profits from these sales go to Children’s Health and Education initiatives nationwide.
My family was sent 3 items from this collection to review. My kids had never read “The Pout-Pout Fish”, but I am happy to admit that this book has now been added to their favorites. My son even took it to school for show and tell. Plus, the “Pout Pout” Fish and the crab are so soft, that my daughter now wants to sleep with them.
Kohl’s has raised more than $231 million for children’s initiatives nationwide through its Kohl’s Cares cause merchandise program. For more information, visit kohlscares.com.
I think these would make excellent gifts for a birthday, baby shower, or would be a great present to set aside for the upcoming holidays. This is also a feel good gift because not only are you making a child happy, but you are also helping a child in need.
Have you ever read any of Deborah Diesen’s books before? Who would you gift one of these items to?
