Thanks to Kidz Gear, I was sent their KidzControl™ Volume Limited Headphones for Kids to review !
KidzControl™ Volume Limited Headphones are not “toys,” but adult products built for kids. They feature soft ear-cups with an adjustable band and volume control that is perfect for sensitive ears. The audio jack is a 3.5mm (1/8”) and compatible with most audio devices that are used in classrooms. The head phones work with MP3 players, iPads, iPods and even standard DVD and CD players.
Learning Magazine recognized this product as one of the most outstanding classroom recommended products of 2013 in the “School Supplies Category.” It also received the Creative Toy Awards 2010 Product of the Year Award from Creative Child Magazine .
Both of my kids have been using the KidzControl™ Volume Limited Headphones on their personal tablet products, and on the Portable DVD Player. My house has not been this quiet in a very long time. It has been nice keeping them distracted and keeping the noise down while I’m trying to watch my favorite TV show, working on the computer, or while the baby is sleeping. I was even able to have a conversation with another adult without having to talk over all of the noise.
And, according to my children they like it because as my son says,”It looks cool,” and my daughter says, “Purple is my favorite color!”.
KidzControl™ Volume Limited Headphones a retail for $19.99 and are available at Target and InMotion Airport Stores. as well as at Amazon.com (Kidz Gear Headphones) and other fine online retailers. A Carry Bag, and Splitter cable for multiple listeners can be purchased separately.
