Have a household with plenty of electronic gadgets like Tablets and Smartphones? Wish that you could utilize them for your favorite TV shows anytime, anywhere?

The average American family owns more than just two or three TVs, they now have smartphones, tablets, and computers. THE HOPPER ONLY FROM DISH is a Whole-Home HD DVR that lets families watch live and recorded TV anywhere with DISH Anywhere™. It also allows users to record up to 6 different shows at the same time and instantly skips commercials in recorded primetime TV on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC with AutoHop™.  Plus, with Hopper Transfers™, programs can be watched when traveling without an Internet connection, such as in-flight or on the road.

My family has different tastes in TV programming, but it a shame that we have to go into separate rooms in order to enjoy our shows. I purposely do not have TV’s in my kiddos rooms because I want them to hang out with Mom and Dad. I like the idea of  DISH Anywhere™ and the option of being able to watch programming on our tablet and laptop. This way we could enjoy our shows and be right next to one another (head phones of course).

I also like the idea of Hopper Transfers™.  We would be able to take our programming along with us on car trips.  This would be a great way to pass the time, and keep kids distracted. Plus, if I needed to catch up on my favorite prime time shows, I could plug in my head phones while hubby takes us to our destination. And since we would be able to record up to 6 different shows at the same time, I would have plenty to watch and would get through the episodes faster with AutoHop™.

So with all that being said, I am excited to share that right now, you can get the Hopper™ for FREE when you sign up for DISH. Packages start at $24.99. (For 12 months with 24 month commitment. Restrictions Apply.) for more details visit Learn more about the Hopper.

The DISH Hopper was the best thing to happen to DVRs, and DISH Anywhere is the best part of the Hopper! The 2,000 hours of recording space and PrimeTime Anytime are both very cool, but nothing beats being able to take my live TV and DVR with me wherever I go. I work a lot of late nights at DISH, but I can turn the app on and watch the game live during my train ride home. My wife also really likes that it works on both Androids AND Apple products, so SHE can entertain the kids with DISH during HER commute. DISH Anywhere lets enjoy our TV more, and life is a bit simpler.
