Make Sure You Take The Time To Have a Tea Party With Your Little Girl!

 

I had a tea party this afternoon with my daughter and I have to admit that it was a lot of fun.

Since I have had the baby, I haven’t felt like I have played at all with my little girl. Whether I am running from point A to point B, nursing, cleaning, or making dinner, I was just feeling like I needed to stop and spend some one on one time with her. I made a point to do it today.

Our menu for the party included cucumber sandwiches, honey peanuts, and cookies for dessert. FYI, my daughter wanted me to pretend that she made everything. This Melissa & Doug Bella Butterfly Tea Set was actually intended for her birthday, but I decided to go ahead and give to her a little early since she will be having some buddies come over this weekend.

 

 

Here is the transcript of our Tea Party:

Me – “These Cucumber sandwiches are divine, my compliments to the Chef”.

My Daughter – “Oh, it was not problem”.

Me – “I love the aroma of this tea.”

My Daughter – “It is my own special blend”.

My daughter had a blast and I could tell that she was loving the attention. Little Girls and Tea Parties are awesome and I can’t wait to do it again! 🙂
