A special thank you goes out to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not In Orlando for hosting my family for a visit. Opinions expressed are that if my own.
If you are planning a vacation to Florida or are a Sunshine State local looking for something interesting to do with the family, then you will want to check out Ripley’s Believe It Or Not In Orlando!

This attraction located off of International Drive is ideal for travelers who are wanting indoor activities.
It took us about 2 hours to explore this tilted store front and is great for individuals that like to learn interesting details about the past or get hands on in an oddities museum.

My family had actually been to the Ripley’s in St. Augustine a few times so we already had an idea of what to expect at this location. Plus, my hubby and I had even went on one of the Oldest Cities Ghost Tours!
All of us like to read the weird, gross, strange, and mind blowing details that many of the exhibits share. FYI some of the displays at Ripley’s can be scary for younger kids (Medieval Torture for example) so feel free to breeze through those sections like we have.

My kiddos were so engaged with the collections during our visit, so be sure to check out the ways to Get Interactive At Ripley’s Believe It Or Not In Orlando!

The Brain Games –
There are interesting Math Problems, a Puzzling Gate, as well as pictures that will mess with your vision.

Turn Yourself Into A Shrunken Head –
There is an interactive machine that allows you to transform your photo into a Shrunken Head. Not only can you customize your face and hair, but when you finish you are able to email yourself a copy of your custom creation.

This is a great souvenir to have from this Orlando Attraction. FYI when you head around the corner from this machine, you can see an actual shrunken head.
Miniatures and Magnification –
Have a child that is obsessed with all thinks small, then they will enjoy looking into the microscopes to see how an artist created miniatures on the smallest of items.

See How You Measure Up –
Want to see how you compare to the tallest man? See how you measure up. Plus, there is a rather large tire nearby that the kids will want to crawl into.

Grab The Jewel –
I am just going to leave this one to the imagination. No spoilers here!

The Pin Wall –
So I was hoping the kids would only put their hands on this, but they proceeded to put their entire bodies into the pins. They could have stayed in this section for an hour if I let them.

Some other fun items to look for at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not In Orlando are Disney inspired creations with Walle, Star Wars, and Maleficent as well as an odd Billiards Room where balls roll the wrong way.
It is amazing how creative individuals can be by creating art out of the most peculiar items.

My family enjoyed our visit and we look forward to going again! Heading to Orlando, FL? Get $3 off adult tickets and $2 off child tickets to Ripley’s Orlando. Sale ends 5/20.
