A special thank you goes out to MARY’s secret ingredients for providing my family with the Fall Box as well inspiring the Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Recipe and sponsoring a giveaway!

Earlier this year I had introduced an awesome subscription box service called MARY’s secret ingredients and showcased both their Spring  and Summer Boxes.  From each, I took one of the items and created recipes including Chinese Orange Chicken and Lemon Meringue Pie Freezer Pop Recipe!

This month I am back to share the Fall Box and created a Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Recipe for Lunch.

Now to give you a refresher on how these boxes work, according to their website MARY’s secret ingredients is a limited edition culinary surprise subscription box containing unique, gourmet products you’ve probably never heard of. In their boxes they also include a small kitchen tool, and it is all delivered right to your door.

Every season, a limited number of curated boxes are filled with lovely surprises to inspire your cooking. Mary creates custom recipes using each product and emails them to you. Plus you can feel really good about your purchase because each sale supports MARY’s secret ingredients in a partnership with Feed The Children to end global hunger.

The items included in the MARY’s secret ingredients Fall Box 2016 are Superseeds Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds, Mom’s Popped Lotus Seeds, Pourfect Measuring Cup, PS Seasoning & Spices Pancake Mix, and Nuts Over Fish. I have been experimenting with the contents and have enjoyed taste testing these delicious products. Plus, the Measuring Cup is handy for pancakes!

This is a total value of $55 for only $34. Plus, you can save an additional 20% off of any purchase with the code TRYMSI. Be sure to check out the great offer they have for an Annual Subscription that includes FREE Shipping!

One of the items that I have utilized in an unique way is Nuts Over Fish and its amazing sweet flavor was a perfect addition to a Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Recipe. See how you can recreate it below:

Directions:
First slice your cucumber. I ended up making 2 batches with around 11 slices each. Then take a heaping teaspoon of the Nuts Over Fish and lightly sprinkle over the tops. Next take a small slice of Smoked Salmon and place on top of the cucumbers.
You then have an easy Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Recipe that is ready to eat immediately and is great for a snack, appetizer, or lunch. I actually made this for myself, but I had all 3 kids trying to eat it.
