A special thank you goes out to MARY’s secret ingredients for providing my family with the Spring Box as well as sponsoring a giveaway!
Recently I was introduced to an awesome subscription box service called MARY’s secret ingredients. When they offered to send my family the Spring 2016 collection to try out, I was excited to see what was inside and explore the products.
Plus, I even utilized one of the ingredients in an easy Chinese Orange Chicken Recipe.
According to their website, MARY’s secret ingredients is a limited edition culinary surprise subscription box containing unique, gourmet products you’ve probably never heard of.
In their boxes they also include a small kitchen tool, and it is all delivered right to your door.
Every season, a limited number of curated boxes are filled with lovely surprises to inspire your cooking. Mary creates custom recipes using each product and emails them to you.
You can feel really good about your purchase as well, because each sale supports MARY’s secret ingredients in a partnership with Feed The Children to end global hunger.
The items included in the MARY’s secret ingredients Spring Box 2016 are Just Jan’s Marmalade, Sir Kensington’s Dijonnaise, the Tea Spot, Joseph Joseph Garlic Crusher, PHO Veggie Broth, and a special 100 Cups A Day container.
This is a total value of $55 for only $34. Plus, you can save an additional 25% off of any purchase with the code funmom25. Be sure to check out the great offer they have for an Annual Subscription that includes FREE Shipping!
Do you currently receive Subscription Boxes? Which MARY’s secret ingredients Box would you say has been your favorite?
Since I received my box, I have been experimenting with the contents and one of the items that I have utilized in an unique way is the Just Jan’s Marmalade.
I actually used this to transform ordinary Popcorn Chicken into a Chinese Orange Chicken Recipe.
Want to recreate this Chinese Orange Chicken Recipe? Details are below:
25-30 pieces of Prepared Popcorn Chicken
5 Tbsp of Just Jan’s Tangerine Marmalade
1/4 Cup of Chopped Green Onion
First, prepare the Popcorn Chicken. While hot, completely cover the chicken with the Marmalade and onions.
I did this by tossing it all in a bowl with tongs. To finish, I served the chicken over white rice. It was that easy and my kids told me it tasted delicious! (Serves up to 8)
