Being a child of the 70’s, I have to admit that I got a little nostalgic when I heard that there would be a reimagining of Disney’s film “Pete’s Dragon“. Plus, I am now singing “Candle on the Water” in my head as I write this post.
I am sure a lot of this has to do with the fact that I remember watching it along side my Grandparents on TV, (I was only a baby when it came out in theaters) and I am all about a good musical from my days back in the high school drama department. Not to mention I love a funny Mickey Rooney and the voice of Helen Reddy HEAR ME ROAR :).

Sunday night at 8:00 PM EST during the “Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” on ABC, we will get to catch a glimpse into this production and maybe even fulfill some of my curiosity. I am truly intrigued to see Trailer For Disney’s PETE’S DRAGON and how the film will be remade. I am also looking forward to a glance of the cast members, including Robert Redford and Bryce Dallas Howard.
