Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat Review! With $25 Walmart Gift Card Giveaway!

disclosure-for-site

February 12, 2015 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 72 Comments

Thanks to Cosco, I was provided a Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat to review as part of a sponsored post. Opinions expressed about the product are that of my own.

Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat

My youngest son was using a hand me down car seat from his sister and was definitely in need of a upgrade. Thanks to a little perfect timing, I was contacted to check out and review the Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat.

Available online at Walmart, this car seat comes in 9 designs and is delivered in the box ready to go. All I needed to do was add on the cup holder, adjust the straps, and install it in my vehicle. I did all of those things within 30 minutes or so.

Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat before set up

The Cosco Scenera NEXT fits easily as one of three car seats across the back seat of most vehicles, which it in fact it did in my Honda Pilot.

In addition, it is Rear-facing 5-40 lbs (19″ to 40″), Forward-facing 22-40 lbs (29″ to 43″ and at least 2 years old), and also has a 5-point harness with easy front adjustment. It also has Side Impact Protection and has been Certified for use on an aircraft.

In regards to the look of it I really like the neutral design, and so far it has be easy to clean.

I also like how the metal adjustment button is camouflaged by a little pocket in the front. With a toddler, crumbs and dirt would get caught in there and that cover helps keep it debris free.

Toddler in Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat

Of course the most important part is how my little guy feels, and he is loving his new seat. As for safety, a few days after I installed the seat I got cut off at a stop sign. Result was that it kept my Little Man comfortable and secure.

What qualities do you look for in a car seat? After checking out the Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat which pattern do you link the best?

Neat Fact! Cosco Car Seats are made in America and their first priority is family. To coincide with the roll out of the first Scenera NEXT’s, Cosco is launching a personalized letter writing campaign. A number of the first Scenera NEXT’s will feature handwritten notes from a child of one of Cosco’s Columbus, Indiana, employees.

To learn more about this car seat, visit Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat at Walmart for more details.
