Zip Lining at Zoom Air in Orlando!

A special thank you to Visit Seminole for providing me with access to experience Zip Lining at Zoom Air in Orlando and for the photos. Opinions expressed are that of my own.

Zip Lining at Zoom Air

A couple of weeks ago, I had shared that I would be visiting Seminole County Florida to check out the area and learn about #OrlandoEscapes. During the first day of the trip we made a stop at the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens, and while there we embarked on a Zip Lining course at Zoom Air.

Zoom Air is a treetop adventure that offers game elements and includes zip lines. There are 3 courses including the Upland, Rainforest, and Kid’s Course. This is a great family vacation spot, but they also can host birthday parties, team building adventures, as well as field trips and night events.

I had never zip lined before, so this was all new to me. Honestly I wasn’t sure if I should be fearful or relaxed.

Just to give you an idea of how it works at Zoom Air, they first have you sign a release and then gear you up with your belt and hand you a set of gloves.  Then, you head over to a small course to receive training. From there, they teach the proper way to attach yourself, give you safety rules, and show you how to move along the lines.

To move forward on the course, I then had to show the instructor that I could follow those directions.

Well I obviously passed the test, and let me just say that it felt amazing doing this course. I was not afraid, and actually was quite relaxed. There was a sense of accomplishment as I completed each task, and it felt awesome as I flew through the air. I also thought it was really fun to put my balance to the test on the games.

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous at Zoom Air, and while up in trees I felt very safe. I would love to take my husband and oldest son to check out this course again in the future.

Have you ever Zip Lined before?  If so which kind of course did you use?

As long as I don't have to do it over an alligator pit, because they would love me for dinner after I fell in! Just kidding, I know it is super safe!

This looks so fun! My kids have done it but I have never had the chance. I would love to do it. We are planning a trip out that way soon - I will have to look into this. Thanks!

I am so scared of heights, but honestly this looks fun. We have something similar here in Washington state and my family wants to try it out.
