Halloween is such a great time of year for kids to use their imagination, and for families to create long lasting memories together. This inspired me to create a Magic Potion Halloween Milkshake!

TruMoo participates in this seasonal fun by creating a Halloween inspired milk called Orange Scream along with dressing up it’s Chocolate variety with spooky limited edition labels. These products come from local trusted Diaries, and contain no growth hormones or high fructose corn syrup.

Because Orange Scream in a yummy treat and a fun drink for Halloween, I decided to incorporate it into a festive and “Not So Scary” recipe for my kids called Magic Potion Halloween Milkshake.

If you would like to recreate the dessert, this is what you will need:

3/4 Cup of TruMoo Orange Scream

3 Cups of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

1 8oz Can of Crushed Pineapple

4 Tbsp of Flake Coconut

Optional Garnish: Whipped Cream, Candy Corn, and Gummy Worms

FYI, when you tell your kids what is in the drink be sure to explain the ingredients in fun “Halloween” terms.

This Magic Potion has Spider legs, Hocus Pocus, Eye of Newt, Worms on top, and of course TruMoo Orange Scream . (He, He, He)

Directions:

Place Ice Cream, Drained Pineapple, Coconut, and TruMoo Orange Scream into a blender. Blend until completely combined.

Serve immediately in a mason jar or other container, and garnish with Whipped Cream, Candy Corn, and Gummy Worms. Serves 2-4.

Do you create any fun Halloween inspired dishes like this? What else would you incorporate Orange Scream into?

This dessert was so much fun to create, and my son really enjoyed being a taste tester. If you try this Halloween Milkshake recipe out, let me know what you think!

I really like the addition of coconut. That really adds an interesting texture and I would never tell the kids what it is. Wa ha ha. (evil laugh)
