Celebrating Fall with Diamond Candles! Gifts That Keep On Giving!

O.K., I have to admit that I have been thinking about rings in candles for a while. I gave my sister one for her birthday a while back, but had yet to receive one myself. I was really curious about how the whole process worked.

Well thanks to Diamond Candles, I was given an opportunity to experience these specialty items first hand. I was given 2 of their Fall scents to test and review here on Frugal and Fun Mom, and all opinions expressed in this post are that of my own.

So to get started with Diamond Candles, I first received cardboard packaging with the 100% soy candles placed inside. To see what it looked like visit Diamond Candle Packaging Picture on Instagram.

I immediately got into each container and started smelling the Fall themed candles.

There was a Pumpkin Chai and a Candy Corn and of the 2, my first initial impression drew me to the Candy Corn.  However after burning them both, it would be tough to choose which is my favorite.

Now if you are like me and have never owned one of these before, you are probably wondering about the ring.

When making the initial investment in these Diamond Candles you not only get a great smelling item that you can continue to burn, but you also get a surprise piece of bling inside.

That ring can be worth as little as $10 or up to $5000 based on the reveal code packing inside.

To get to the ring, you have to burn the candle. Once it gets down to the gold spot on the side (times may vary), you pull it out with tweezers. I dug mine out with a spoon.

You then carefully remove the foil, and inside is a small baggy with the ring.

After burning my 2 candles, I ended up with a diamond type silver ring and a pink ice silver ring. These are worth $10 each.

My rings are pretty and I am still burning the candles, these are truly gifts that keep on giving.

Have you ever own a Diamond Candle before?  What type of ring did you get and what is your favorite scent?

That's the coolest idea ever. I love the idea of getting a prize at the bottom of my candle. Cool!

I've seen these before. I wonder if they publish the odds of getting the big one anywhere?

I bet that smells sooo good. I love the smell of pumpkin, but often the punpkin scent is way off. That ring you got is very pretty. You got lucky,

It seems like they put the rings higher up in the wax every time I get one, I guess us customers are impatient! My favorite candle is the Fresh Cut Grass one!

That bigger ring is especially cute! We have a couple of Diamond Candles - I think they're so fun, and it's great giving two gifts in one!

I bet that pumpkin chai candle smells delicious. I would have a hard time waiting for the candle to burn down to my ring, though!

I used to get their candles and loved the extra treat inside. Unfortunately I wear a size 4.5 right and they never make them that small.
