I was provided a copy of Littlest Pet Shop: Strike A Pose to facilitate this post. The opinions expressed about this DVD are that of my own.
My daughter has a new favorite TV show thanks to the Littlest Pet Shop and the newest DVD called Strike A Pose.
The Littlest Pet Shop series centers around a main character named Blythe Baxter, and her best friends Zoe the spaniel, Pepper the skunk, Sunil the mongoose, Vinnie the gecko, Russell the hedgehog, Penny the panda, and Minka the monkey. The most interesting part is Blythe can talk to her pets and they can talk back setting the stage for all types of animal mischief to occur.
I actually bought my daughter these dolls and animals a couple years ago and had no idea that there was an adorable cartoon to go along with them.
In this DVD, The Littlest Pet Shop friends head out on adventures and tend to find themselves in interesting situations. They learn about filming a commercial for the business, compete in a dance competition, participate in a flower parade, and also learn how to get along with a difficult pet Alligator.
Episodes in Littlest Pet Shop: Strike a Pose Include: So You Skink You Can Dance?, Commercial Success, What Meme Worry?, The Big Feathered Parade, and Alligators and Handbags. It also includes a Sing-Along bonus feature.
So why do we like this DVD? The shows are cute with fun innocent humor, and there is something in each episode that even my 8 year old son can enjoy. My 5 year old daughter likes the series because (in her words), “It is very funny, Blythe looks like me, and she makes me want to go on an adventure.”
