The following is a sponsored post on behalf of Bonefish Grill Sunday Brunch. Product was provided for sampling. Opinions expressed are that of my own.
My husband and I have been way over due for a Date Day and recently we got an opportunity to share a relaxing afternoon, along with trying out the Sunday Brunch at Bonefish Grill.
This was actually the second time we attempted this date day. The first time we tried our household had come down with the flu and we weren’t going anywhere. Plus between commitments, holidays, and everything else, we just had to keep putting it off.
I love Bonefish Grill, so I was ready to get out of the house and have a great meal.
Walking up to the restaurant immediately put me in a relaxed state. They have such a warm inviting atmosphere starting with the outside, and it just carries on over into the inside.
As we entered, we were immediately greeted by the hostess, and she took us over to a table.
Our server was with us shortly, and she explained to us what the Sunday Bunch menu was all about.
I had heard good things about the Bang Bang Shrimp Eggs Benedict, but as the server was going over the menu, she caught my attention with the Crème Brûlée French Toast. Hubby took an interest in the American Kobe Beef and Egg Burger.
After discussing the special, I decided to upgrade my meal to the $19.99 Endless Bubbles Brunch.
This way I could try out the Mimosas, and I started off with a traditional orange juice and champagne.
However, I was still thinking about Bang Bang Shrimp, so we ordered an appetizer.
This is one of my favorite items on the menu and it was so good.
After the appetizer our meals arrived. Hubby’s dish looked amazing, and I was really wanting one of those fries.
I knew that I needed to save room for my meal, so I distracted myself and decided to try another Mimosa. This time I went with the Passion Fruit and it was super delicious.
The Crème Brûlée French Toast was also really good. It comes sprinkled with large pieces of sugar, along with a side of bacon and strawberries with whipped cream.
This was a dish that did not need syrup, it was sweet enough as served.
After our meal was finished, we sat, talked, and relaxed for a while. We just took a moment to enjoy one another’s company.
The food was amazing, and we had a great time.
Of course the best part of date day was stealing a few minutes with my guy. After brunch we even managed to take a trip to a local hardware store to walk around. We also started brainstorming on future home projects and that is the perfect kind of date day for me!
