“I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Nutri-Grain. I received product samples and promotional item to thank me for participating.”
I usually start my day long before everyone else gets up in the morning, and seem to always be in a rush. With 2 kids in school, extracurricular activities, and pick-up, I am pretty much on the road throughout the day. Plus, I am running around after a toddler while trying to exercise, clean house, and get meals prepared.
Breakfast tends to get skipped or eaten almost at lunchtime, and this can make for a very hungry and tired mom.
I’m sure my scenario sounds the same if not similar to yours because frankly Moms and Dads are pretty busy people. However, I have found at least one way to fit breakfast into my hectic schedule with a new product from Kellogg’s called Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Cereal Bars.
Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Cereal Bars are perfect for the “busy, on-the-go lifestyle”. They are individually wrapped making them great for transport, and are made with a combination of protein, real fruit, and whole grains.
Each bar is 180 calories, has 20% of the daily dietary fiber, and contains 4 grams of protein.
These Cereal Bars are available in 2 flavors, Country Strawberry and Blueberry Bliss and are sold at most retailers nationwide. I did sample both and in my opinion they are like a granola and jelly toast all-in-one. They are yummy.
As mentioned before, these are great for on the go, and last week I added one to my purse for a day trip and for after church.
My family also sampled the bars, and my son told me “These are good.” as he quickly finished one for breakfast.
Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Cereal Bars come in boxes of five, and retail for around $3.59 each. To learn more about this new product visit facebook.com/NutriGrain.
These are also a participating brand with Kellogg’s Family Rewards. Make sure you grab the codes, I have already entered mine for a future coupon or Scholastic book.
Do you eat Nutri-Grain Bars? Have you had an opportunity to try Fruit & Oat Harvest yet? If so, which flavor is your favorite?
I’m a little sad since we already devoured them all. Needless to say, I will be using the coupons on the box to pick up more of these from the store.
