Review and Giveaway of Purex UltraPacks Plus Oxi! Another Convenient Method of Washing Laundry!

disclosure-for-site

October 4, 2013 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 120 Comments

I am a Purex Insider. Opinions expressed in this post are that of my own.

Purex UltraPacks Plus Oxi

Thanks to Purex I was sent FREE Purex UltraPacks Plus Oxi to review here on Frugal and Fun Mom.

According to Purex, Purex UltraPacks Plus Oxi have a formula that is so powerful that it fights over 101 stains.  The DirtLift Action leaves clothes bright, white, and clean. These laundry pods can be used in all types of machines including HE.

I used this detergent on my regular everyday laundry that had minimal stains, and it left the clothes clean and smelling really nice. I do like the convenience of the Ultra Packs. They are less mess, and take away the work of needing to measure out the detergent.

Purex UltraPacks Plus Oxi Pack

I also experimented with a ketchup and barbecue sauce to see how well the formula lifted the stain.  I purposely put it on a shirt, wiped it in, and let it sit for a few hours before I washed it. It did this with pre-treatment, and without.

From my experiment, I determined that these kinds of stains still need some type of pre-treatment before they go into the wash. In my case, the UltraPacks Plus Oxi may have aided in the stain lifting, but did not pull these types of stains out completely on its own.

For more information about Purex and its products visit the website at purex.com. You can also check them out on Facebook at facebook.com/purex.

What are some of the tough stains that show up on your laundry?

In addition, to celebrate the release of UltraPacks Plus Oxi, Purex is also hosting a sweepstakes where 10 will win $50. To enter, head on over and check out the Find the Red Jersey and Win! Sweepstakes ends October 18, 2013.

I am forever getting food stains. Either I drop it eating , or I get it all over me in the cooking process. I like the packs, they are easier than carrying the bottle back and forth to and from the laundrymat
