Apple Cider Slow Cooker Recipe! Easy To Make With Only 4 Ingredients!

I was having a group of moms over for a play-date and since this is the beginning of Fall, I thought this would be a perfect time to try to make an Apple Cider Slow Cooker Recipe.

Apple Cider Slow Cooker Recipe

This would be my first attempt at making it from scratch, however I had an idea of what it should taste and look like, so I figured I would give it a go.

On my last shopping trip to Publix, I had picked up Apple Juice on sale and decided I would use that along with some ingredients I already had.

Apple Cider Slow Cooker Recipe

Apple Cider Slow Cooker Recipe

2 – 64 oz bottles of Apple Juice

1/3 cup of light brown sugar

1/2 tsp of Cinnamon

1/2 tsp of All Spice

Directions:

Put all of these ingredients into a slow cooker or crock pot that is 6 quarts or larger, stir until combined, and cover. Put on high for 1 1/2 hours stirring occasionally. Then move to the low setting for 1 hour stirring occasionally. Then move to the warm setting, stirring occasionally.

Leave it on the warm setting until it is all gone or you are finished entertaining, which ever comes first. As you are serving be sure to stir the mix since the spices settle, there will be sediment in the bottom of the cup as well.

FYI, it will be hot, so tell your party goers, and if you are serving it to little ones make sure you let it cool a bit or add some ice cubes.

My first attempt at making homemade Apple Cider went really well, and this served more than 14 people. Feel free to cut the ingredients in half for a smaller group and refrigerate any leftovers.

It was extremely popular and the moms said it really got them into the Fall spirit.

Do you make Apple Cider?  If so, how do you create it?

If you try this out, let me know what you think! Be sure to add the recipe to your collection below!

Ooh, this looks very good! Apple cider is one of my favorite fall treats, though we usually get ours from the local orchard. I'll have to try making it, your recipe looks great!

We are going to have to try this on Halloween. My son is 3 years old, so he's getting old enough to appreciate special holiday stuff like this. :)

Sounds delish! I have some whole cinnamon sticks that I would like to use instead of the ground cinnamon. Have you ever tried it with these? I'm just wondering if I should use 1 or if 2 would be too overpowering.

I know your home must have smelled amazing while you were making this. My youngest daughter was just asking for apple cider, so I'm going to have to try this recipe. Thanks for the idea!
