I had bought a head of Cabbage on sale right before St. Patrick’s, so I knew I was going to make some form of Cole Slaw with it since my son loves it! Plus with these pregnancy cravings, it hits the spot.
I decided to try something different this time, and used the Creole Mustard by Zatarain’s that I had gotten for free at my recent House Party. CLICK HERE–>Zatarain’s House Party.
The mustard has a little kick, but in the Cole Slaw, you really can’t notice. It just gives it a great flavor and a nice appearance with the mustard seeds.
Creole Mustard Cole Slaw – Serves 4
Ingredients:
1/3 Head of Cabbage Shredded
1 Carrot Shredded
1 tbsp of Zatarain’s Creole Mustard
3 Heaping tbsps of Mayonnaise
1/4 tsp of Garlic Powder
Mix it all together and serve cold. (Triple the ingredients if you want to use the entire head of cabbage.)
It turned out yummy!
If you try it out, let me know what you think!
