Today, we had someone coming to look at our home since we have it listed, which meant that the kids and I needed to get out of the house. I was looking for something to do to keep them entertained while we were out and I had seen on line that Michaels was offering a Passport to Fun event.
I surprised the kids and I decided to check it out. I am so glad that I did because the kids had a blast. The project they were working on was for Greece, and the kids made a Greek Pot and an Olympic Torch.
This event was NOT FREE, but all I had to do was purchase the pot the kids were working on which happened to be on clearance. I ended up spending $1.52 which was totally worth it!
There are additional events coming up this month and some are FREE. The next one is a FREE event is Saturday July 23, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m for Mexico called the Mexican Sun & Tissue Paper Flower Event.
