Review of Applied Labels

disclosure-for-site

November 16, 2010 Carlee at Fun Learning Life Leave a Comment

Recently, Applied Labels, selected At Home Moma to review their special dishwasher and laundry safe labels.

I received my customized Applied Labels in the mail in about a week and they had my son’s name, a font of my choice, and an icon. I choose the cutie font and the soccer icon since my son is currently playing the sport.  Click here to check out the fonts and icons: Applied Labels Fonts and Icons
According to the website Applied Labels have twice the adhesive strength of most labels. It is so strong that it is classified as permanent. They provide a simple, quick method to label clothing with tags that does not require any sewing or ironing onto the fabric or marking the fabric with ink. They can also be used on bottles and other child related items. Click Here to see many of the uses.

Applied Labels LLC was founded by a degreed Chemical Engineer and mother of two. She was a key engineer in charge of labeling for a leading aerospace company and has put her experience with cutting edge technology to work for you. Source Applied Labels, Why Are We Better?

I put labels in my son’s sneakers, on a water bottle, and on a tagged shirt to test. I sent my son to a soccer game with the labels in his sneakers, I washed the water bottle, and I washed the shirt. The labels did remain on each of the items.
Click below to view a video on how to use the labels:
As seen below in the photo provided by Applied Labels, make sure that the tag on clothing is small enough for the two sides of the labels to connect. If their isn’t enough tag for each piece to attach to, it will not work.

These labels would be useful for parents whose children take clothes, bottles or sippy cups to school, or for kids going off to camp. They would also come in handy for those play-dates when all the kids are carrying around sippy cups and bottles, and you are trying to remember which container belongs to your little one.
