Since I have been taking advantage of the BOGO sales at Publix and matching them up with coupons, I have drastically reduced my grocery bill. (more than half)
But can I really make meals with all this stuff?
Well here is the proof.
Last night I made a meal that cost less than $3.00 that fed a family of four.
Ingredients:
Box of Ronzoni -Mostacciolli Rigati (BOGO Sale) .59 cents
Can of Del Monte -Garlic and Olive Oil Tomatoes (BOGO Sale) .79 cents
Bird’s Eye Mixed Veggies (50% off) 1.19
Pulled chicken left over from a Whole Chicken I made the day before (Left Overs)
Added extra Olive Oil, sprinkled Parmesan Cheese, and added a Few Mushrooms. (Price minimal)
Directions:
I cooked the pasta and set it aside. I combined the other ingredients at medium heat and after the mixture was cooked, I added the pasta in.
The best part about this recipe is that it actually tasted great and my husband liked it as well. 馃檪
