YOU*NIVERSE Galactic Bath Bombs Kit Review!

disclosure-for-site

March 16, 2018 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 87 Comments

A special thank you goes out to the Horizon Group USA for sending my family a YOU*NIVERSE Galactic Bath Bombs Kit to review. Opinions expressed are that of my own.

Are you looking for an interesting experiment to work on with your child?

The YOU*NIVERSE Galactic Bath Bombs Kit is something that my daughter and I assembled together, and it is a product that reinforces math skills as well as teaches science through a chemical reaction.

Now first off I want to say that the end result will not be the same as purchasing a pre-made one from the store, the final Bath Bomb will be a soft sand consistency but will stay together.

This activity definitely requires your little scientist to read the steps and properly use the measurements.

The YOU*NIVERSE Galactic Bath Bombs Kit includes bath bomb mix, baking soda, coconut oil, fragrance, mica powder, as well as molds and the “How To”.

Plus it comes with an informative poster that explains the history and science behind a bath bomb.

Keep in mind that you will need a bowl along with measuring cups to complete this experiment.

In addition, you will want to work on a surface that can easily be cleaned (a plastic table cloth works well), and I would suggest using an apron. Tip: We stored our leftover bath bomb in a resealable plastic bag.

My daughter thought this was really cool to create and enjoyed putting her hands into the mix. She also thought it was neat to put into her bath water.

Have you ever conducted simple science projects at home with your family? What kind of experiments have you been successful with?

I asked her if she would like me to pick up another one of these kits, and she responded with an absolute “YES!” Look for the YOU*NIVERSE Galactic Bath Bombs Kit online and instores!
