Now that it is starting to warm up outside, I am definitely getting in the mood for cooler treats like ice cream and slushies.
This was evident while my husband and I were on vacation in St. Augustine, and I grabbed myself a Dole Whip to enjoy while we walked along the downtown area.
Well after having that treat, I was inspired to make Pina Colada Freezer Pops at home.
Since I have made this Popsicle Recipe twice already, I wanted to share how to recreate it.
To make these nonalcoholic Pina Colada Freezer Pops, you will need the following:
1 Cup of Pineapple Chunks
3/4 Cup of Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt
1/4 Cup of Pineapple Juice
1/4 Cup of Sweetened Coconut Flakes
6 slot Popsicle Holder
Blender
Directions:
Combine all these ingredients in a blender. FYI, I just used the juice from the Pineapple Chunks.
When completely combined, pour the mix (even scraping the sides) into the Popsicle Molds.
Place them into the freezer for 2 to 3 hours until completely set, and it is that easy to make these Pina Colada Freezer Pops.
In fact I had to make the second batch because my family gobbled up the first.
