Minifigures Magnet Idea With LEGO® Brick Set GIVEAWAY from Growing Franchise!

disclosure-for-site

July 20, 2017 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 40 Comments

The following is a sponsored post on behalf of Nakturnal, opinions expressed are that of my own. Photos and logos featured in the post were used with permission from the brand.

This summer my kids have either been conducting experiments or creating some sort of structure in my home. Whether trying out a new activity at a local museum, building LEGO® Dimensions Sets and elaborate car ramps, or learning all about the cosmos through space models, they keep those minds occupied.

Minifigures Magnet Idea

They are unknowingly on the hunt for STEM Activities for Kids and all of this activity even inspired a simple Minifigures Magnet Idea for storage.

Now I also wanted to mention, that one of the neat things we came across this summer was a bin of electrical parts at one of the local children’s museums. This Snap Circuits Set had the directions on how to complete various configurations and this intrigued my 11 year old to find all the parts to complete a couple sets.

Minifigures Magnet Idea

He even started to experiment with his own combinations, so needless to say, if I would have let him he probably would have stayed in that section the entire time.

I am definitely adding one of these circuit sets to my ideas of what to get him for Christmas. Want to see another cool activity my oldest put together? Check out this STEM inspired Dirty Penny Experiment.

Minifigures Magnet Idea

Now all of this summer building renewed my kids interest in LEGO® bricks and my little guy has formed a collection of Minifigures. This created a need for storage and we found a solution.

Want to make your own Minifigures Magnet for your family? Here is what you will need:

– Small to Medium LEGO® Baseplate

– Adhesive Magnets

– Minifigures

Minifigures Magnet Idea

Directions:

First clear a place on your Fridge and make sure it can open to that spot without touching a surface. Then, place the adhesive magnets on the back of the LEGO® Baseplate.

I would suggest no less than 6 and depending upon the size you may need to add more to support the weight of the Minifigures. Tip: If your magnets are not adhering or pop off easy, add school glue and allow to dry before placing on a metal surface.

Minifigures Magnet Idea

My youngest son helped me put on the magnets and then added his guys to the front. We actually ended up making another one to support all of his guys. I know now what to do when he gets new ones!

Is your family also interested in locating STEM Activities for Kids? There is a Growing Franchise that is either new to your area or will be there soon called Snapology!

Franchise for Kids

The concept behind Snapology is providing an environment where kids can explore the concepts of STEM and STEAM without realizing it is educational.

They engage children ages 1-14 using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology to build confidence through hands-on learning. This is facilitated through parties, camps and enrichment classes developed for kids.

Snapology Franchise for Kids

I know my oldest son would really love the Robotics offering. There he could learn pseudo-coding, coding, robotics and engineering principles.

Wanting to become an entrepreneur? With the support of Snapology, you’ll have no problem setting up your own business through an affordable and flexible option with the ability to receive quick profitability. See if the fastest growing kids franchise, is the right opportunity for you.

Minifigures Magnet Idea

What are some of the neat experiments you have seen or completed as a family? Also, why do you think Snapology is a good kids franchise business idea?

I hope you find inspiration from all these STEM Activities for Kids, and your family finds our Minifigures Magnet helpful as well.

How fun!! We haven't really had time for experiments now that my son is 16. He got the Robotics class for his Junior year of high school, though, so I'm sure he'll be making some then! :)

My kids are in preschool, so our experiments are fun, but not super-complicated. My two favorites were "What happens if we plant birdseed?" (The kids predicted that baby bird eggs would grow, so the resulting sunflowers were a grave disappointment) and "Can we cook crescent rolls in the car?" (The answer, which surprised me, was yes. Our Kansas summers get hot as %#@ and the interior of the car hit 180 degrees within minutes; the metal cookie sheet on the sunny dashboard got even hotter)

We recently got our first STEM project to do as a family, we built a solar powered mini car, it was a lot of fun. I think that having a business selling these types of products is a great idea, as this is very popular now and should continue to be so for many years to come.

We recently took the kids to an emerald mine where they were able to sluice and dig for their own gemstones. There were certified geologists and gemologists on site to help educate and provide answers to questions, so it was a fantastic experience. I've also been a judge for First Lego League, so I love the ideas behind Snapology.
