Tips For This Year's Cold Season!

Last week my daughter started coughing. She didn’t have a fever, but I could tell it was bothering her and I was concerned that it might keep her up. It was time to step into action so she would have a good night’s sleep and be productive the next day at school.

Between my hubby and I, we started preparing her for bedtime and getting her set through a wave of activities to be comfortable while she was sleeping.

Maty's Cough Syrup

Want to know how we combated this cough? Check out my Tips For A Good Defense Against This Year’s Cold Season below!

1.  First she took a shower and this helped open up her nasal passages as well as washed off allergens.

2.  We gave her the recommended dosage of Maty’s All Natural Cough Syrup For Kids. I also did this before she went off to school.

3. My husband filled up the humidifier and set it up in her room.

4. I sprayed saline mist in her nose.

5. We put a vapor rub on her chest.

Based on my observations, she slept great and after a few days of this regime she was all cleared up and without a cough.

Taking Maty’s Healthy Products for cough

Maty’s All Natural Cough Syrup For Kids soothes dry and irritated throats and is packed with 10 immune boosting ingredients. It is made with Buckwheat Honey, Cinnamon, Zinc, Apple Cider Vinegar, Cayenne Pepper, plus more.

It has No Harmful Side Effects or Drug Interactions and is Pediatrician Recommended. In addition, it contains no artificial preservatives, color additives, or sweeteners, there is also no corn, soy, or wheat.*

What Maty's Cough Syrup looks like

All 3 of my children and myself have tried Maty’s. I like the flavor since it has a sweet and slightly spicy taste to it.  My oldest son who is 9 likes the flavor, as well as my youngest who is 3. As for my daughter (a 6-year-old) she is very visual and did not want to sip it from a spoon or cup. Hence the syringe, this way she could administer it herself and complete the dosage.

Maty’s All Natural Cough Syrup For Kids is intended for Ages 1 Year and Older and retails for $8.99.

My tip: Avoid confined travel with anyone who is sick. My hubby and I just took a cruise out of San Juan. My "neighbor" on the flight down was coughing up a storm (I have never walked back to the restroom as often as on that flight -- just to get away). Still, the cold brewed and I came home to get sick. Nine days later, the cough is finally settling. GAH! I am going to look into this cough syrup for adults! Nothing "traditional" really helped.
