I love making crafts from items that I get from the Dollar Tree because I can experiment and not part with a lot of money.
A few weeks ago, I put together a Christmas Centerpiece with silver bells that they sell in store. It was so easy to assemble with a simple yet elegant result. If you are looking for holiday gift ideas, also be sure to check out my Christmas Mug Gifts.
This was actually an one stop shopping trip for me and if you would like to recreate this craft, the details are below.
Do-It-Yourself Christmas Centerpiece Made With Decorative Bells!
2 Packages of Silver Bells (9 in each)
1 Glass Vase
1 Oversized Snowflake Decoration
Optional: White Tealight Candles
Directions:
First arrange the bells in the vase without the strings attached. Then take 3 bells and tie them together to go on the top, cutting off any access string.
Find where your centerpiece’s permanent spot will be and then place the vase on top of the snowflake (be sure to cut off any tags or strings). From there level the top bells and place the tealight on top. When burning candles please follow proper handling according to the packaging.
Since the candles are totally optional and you can either skip tying the top bells together, or substitute in an inexpensive battery operated tealight.
I did that here in my practice Black Friday Coffee Breakfast Bar, and this way I didn’t have to worry about someone hitting it as they served themselves or being to close to other items on the table.
