Black Friday Coffee Breakfast Bar With Melitta Prize Pack Giveaway! #MelittaUSA

disclosure-for-site

October 25, 2015 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 62 Comments

I was hosted at Melitta USA in Clearwater Florida and was provided a gift to create an at home Coffee Bar as well as a giveaway item.  Opinions expressed are that of my own.

Black Friday Coffee Breakfast Bar

Are you planning on going out with a group of friends or family on Black Friday?

If so, you will probably be needing to caffeinate before you head out, or refuel during the early morning hours.

Items to add to coffee for flavor

My mother and I have shopped the deals together in recent years and in the past I have also hung out with a group of friends late into the night. I know how tired and hungry we get and definitely need a pick me up.

A Black Friday Coffee Breakfast Bar would be an excellent solution to this!

Coffee Breakfast Bar

Set-up can be as simple as possible with a Keurig, prepackaged goodies, and using festive yet frugal decorations.

In addition, if you are looking for a more gourmet experience use mix ins like chocolate chips, stripy sweets peppermint candies, marshmallows as well as the Melitta Pour Over Coffeemaker to take it up a notch.

Melitta Pour Over Coffeemaker

Examples of food items to serve are biscottis, granola bars, bagels with cream cheese, cinnamon bread, and fresh fruit.

The simpler the better, plus some of these foods can be taken on the go and this makes the Coffee Breakfast Bar set up and break down easy.

Breakfast Bar

I recently attended an event at the Melitta USA facility located in Clearwater, Florida and they had an excellent example of a Coffee Bar setup. This helped inspire my Black Friday Coffee Breakfast Bar.

Melitta is a German based company that produces coffee filters, coffee, and non-electric coffee systems.

Melitta USA Headquarters Clearwater Florida

According to the website, in 1908 a German homemaker named Melitta Bentz, grew tired of the bitter taste and sediment in her coffee and developed what is now called the Pour Over method.

While on my tour I got an opportunity to taste test the coffee as well as learn about the coffee filter production at that location.

Examples of Melitta Coffee and Filters

They not only produce a Premium White and Natural Brown Paper Cone Coffee Filters, but also make a sustainable Bamboo Coffee Filters as well as Traditional Basket Coffee Filters.

In regards to the coffee, they have a roastery located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey that produces ground coffee in cans, bags, as well as in a Keurig single serve compatible form.

Melitta Coffee Bar

What kind of coffee machine do you own? What foods would you include in a Black Friday Coffee Breakfast Bar?

To learn more about Melitta USA visit melitta.com. you can also check them out on Facebook at facebook.com/MelittaUSA and Twitter at twitter.com/Melittausa.

FYI for a tasty Black Friday coffee try adding 2 Stripy Sweets Peppermints with a little Vanilla coffee creamer, SO GOOD!

I've always owned a drip coffee maker (have a Black & Decker, nothing fancy) but last week my iCoffee single brewer arrived so I will join the K-cup peps! It includes a reusable K-cup, which was my only beef about these coffee makers--the plastic trash they generate. I like the healthy plant-based alternatives like nuts and seeds on my coffee bar. Love sunflower seeds and nutty flax seed meal in a granola base. In coffee, I love chocolate peppermint stevia syrup! I need a coffee break now!
