Slow Cooker Chicken Peas and Carrots Recipe

Looking for an easy week night dinner?  Try this Slow Cooker Chicken Peas and Carrots Recipe that I created. My kids love it, and the chicken falls apart.

Slow Cooker Chicken Peas and Carrots Recipe

Here is what I used:

2 pounds of Chicken Breast

1 Can of Peas

2 Cups of Baby Cut Carrots

1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup

Here is how I did it:

First, I put my slow cooker on the high setting. I put the chicken in first, added the carrots, the can of peas, and then topped this off with the cream of mushroom soup. I smoothed the soup all over the top. (I made this with the pea juice, if you want less liquid consider draining the peas).

I cooked this for 3 hours on high. Once I confirmed it was cooked through*, I then served it over pasta. Rice would be a great alternative as well.

*confirm that it is fully cooked before serving.

This meal was that easy to prepare and it tastes great!

Do you make anything similar?  What ingredients do you use?

If you try it out, let me know what you think!

I haven't got my slow cooker out yet this year, but with the colder weather here to stay for a while it's time. Your recipe sounds close to a chicken rice casserole I make, but I don't use carrots. After reading your quick and yummy recipe I'm going to try it. Thanks!

I love how you could leave this simmering in the crock pot all day until it is delicious and ready. I bought a new crock pot but I am trying to learn how to create recipes for it.

I live in Chile and slow cookers are not well known here. I brought my original "Tower"from Uk and recently purchased another. I love the idea of your recipe. It is a Chilean national dish Pollo (chicken) Arevjado ( Peas are Arvejas). Will try tomorrow as requested by a group of workmen here.
