I probably don’t have to point out the fact that I care about my husband and children since many of the posts I create are Family Fun Activities. However, I do have a few other interests that I ‘Give a Cup’ AKA Care About. These include Gardening, Cooking, and Decorating.
Personally I ‘Give A Cup’ about gardening because there is something really rewarding about making a green area in my yard. I like to create the beds, pick out the plants, and then shape them into something that I can enjoy looking at. Plus, it is great way to exercise since the yard is in constant need of upkeep from weeds and over growth.
I definitely ‘Give A Cup’ about cooking. I like to create new dishes, try out recipes, and improve old-time favorites. I don’t always get as much time as I like to experiment, but it brings me happiness when I make a meal or a dish that turns out delicious.
Here is a Coleus plant I re-potted for my patio. I can’t wait to complete the decorating, and serve one of my dishes to my family in this area.
Decorating gives me a sense of accomplishment, so I ‘Give A Cup’. I have many family heirlooms and I love mixing the old with the new. Magazines and television shows give me inspiration, and I also add in my children’s art work. I am currently working on decorating my patio, and I can’t wait to incorporate all the things that I ‘Give A Cup’ about in this area.
