Thanks to Hellmann’s I was sent a bottle of their Limited Edition Hellmann’s Reduced Fat Southwestern Ranch Mayonnaise to try and share my thoughts here on Frugal and Fun Mom.
I tried this product on a veggie burger and it added a little spiciness to create a totally different flavor, it was delicious. In addition, I was having a family get together, and feeding the crowd Pulled Pork Sandwiches. I usually pair Pulled Pork with Cole Slaw, so I substituted in this mayo for the traditional mayonnaise. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the Cole Slaw. After the dinner, we even discussed all the dishes this product might work well in, like potato salad and deviled eggs.
Here is how I made the Cole Slaw with Limited Edition Hellmann’s Reduced Fat Southwestern Ranch Mayonnaise.
1/2 – Head of Cabbage shredded
1 – cup of shredded baby carrots
3 – Heaping tbsps of Limited Edition Hellmann’s Reduced Fat Southwestern Ranch Mayonnaise (add more if you like it spicier or want it to have more moisture)
1 – tsp of Mustard
Directions: Combine, Refrigerate, Serve. Suggestion: Serve this on top of your pulled pork to spice up the sandwich.

SUPER-FAST SOUTHWESTERN SALSA DIP RECIPE:
2 cups dip
Prep Time: 3 minutes
1 jar Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Southwestern Ranch Flavored Mayonnaise
1 cup salsa
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Serve, if desired, with tortilla chips or cut up veggies.
CRUMB-TOPPED SOUTHWESTERN CHICKEN
4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes
1/2 cup Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Southwestern Ranch Flavored Reduced Fat Mayonnaise
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 2 oz.)
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/4 lbs.)
3 Tbsp. corn flake crumbs or plain dried bread crumbs
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°.
2. Combine Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Southwestern Ranch Flavored Reduced Fat Mayonnaise, cheese and cilantro in small bowl. Arrange chicken on baking sheet. Evenly top with mayonnaise mixture, then sprinkle with crumbs.
3. Bake until chicken is thoroughly cooked, about 20 minutes.
SOUTHWESTERN SHRIMP TACOS
4 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 3 minutes
3 cups cole slaw mix
6 Tbsp. Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Southwestern Ranch Flavored Reduced Fat Mayonnaise, divided
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp. lime juice
12 oz. uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 taco shells, heated
1/2 cup chopped tomato
Directions:
1. Combine cole slaw mix, 1/3 cup Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Southwestern Ranch Flavored Reduced Fat Mayonnaise, cilantro and lime juice in medium bowl; set aside.
2. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp, stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink, about 3 minutes.
3. Spoon cole slaw mixture into taco shells, then top with shrimp and tomatoes.
