Review and Giveaway of My Box Fort! A Playhouse Kit That Creates Many Designs and Encourages Imagination!

disclosure-for-site

November 22, 2012 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 17 Comments

Thanks to My Box Fort, I was sent a My Box Fort Kit to review here on Frugal and Fun Mom with my kids. Now before I get started with my review, I have to mention that my son has been having an indoor camp out in his fort for the past 2 days and has slept in it.

So what is a My Box Fort?

Well first off , it is a product that encourages imagination. A My Box Fort Kit can be transformed into whatever your child wants it to be. It can be a castle, pirate ship, playhouse or rocket, but ultimately it can be shaped into whatever the child chooses.

The My Box Fort product is made of sturdy double-ply cardboard panels that are partially recycled material, and are held together by easy-to-use clips. It is 100% recyclable.

Depending upon the age of your child, they may or may not need help assembling.  My 6-year-old assisted my husband and I as we put it together.

My kids have had so much fun coloring and decorating this fort. Plus, it is really big so we only initially used some of the panels. My kids are actually working on a  2nd set of panels in the picture above.

What I really like about this toy is that it comes with multiple pieces, can be colored all over, and when the kids are done playing with it,  it can be taken apart and stored flat.  Of course, I like the fact that it has kept my kids occupied, and they have had a blast playing with it.

Check out the following video of how the My Box Fort works.

The My Box Fort retails for $139.95, but currently they are on sale for $69.95, however this pricing is subject to end at anytime.

To learn more about the My Box Fort or to purchase, visit their website at myboxfort.com or check them out on Facebook at facebook.com/MyBoxFort.

How fun! I would live to see what my 3 girls would come up with, but I imagine them creating creating an eagles nest, or a wolf den. They're totally into animal play right now!

I like the idea of a treehouse complete with tree drawings on the outside. (And maybe some squirrels and birds, too!)

my nephew loves making new things. This would be perfect for him. He could make a castle or a tree house. Drawing the branches and leaves outside the board.
