We got to attend our first FREE Home Depot Kid’s Workshop event on September 3, 2011 and the kids had a blast!
Their project was an ESPN College Game Day Board. They got to build their item first, and then paint it. My son painted his primary colors, and of course my daughter painted hers in her favorite colors of purple and pink.
If you have not attended an event yet, they run from 9:00am – 12:00pm typically on the first Saturday of the month.
In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates’ aprons, and an achievement pin. Source Home Depot
