My kids are huge fans of Phineas and Ferb, and they are really looking forward to the world premier of the Disney Channel’s movie Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension.
In Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension, the boys finally discover that Perry the Platypus is a secret agent, and they join him in another dimension where Dr. Doofenshmirtz is causing havoc. Together they band together to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz and his “EVIL” plan.
The movie is set to air Friday August 5, 2011 at 8:00pm EST on the Disney Channel and Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 10:00am EST on Disney XD. For more details on the movie, CLICK HERE.
In preparation of the upcoming movie, this past Monday 7/11/2011 Disney launched a coast to coast tour called “Perry the Platy-bus On Tour“. It features a 27′ long customized aluminum Air-stream that is outfitted as Perry the Platypus.
The bus is now on a journey from New York to San Diego’s Comic-Con International (July 21-24) and the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim (August 19-21). Fans are invited to come aboard and play “The Movie Game: The Dimension of Doooom!” video game, sing Perry-oke and more. Admission is FREE.
To get my kids ready for the event, I was sent Phineas and Ferb merchandise to check out. This included items like Phineas and Ferb Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, a Phineas talking doll, The Phineas and Ferb The Daze of Summer DVD, CD, T-Shirts for Mom, a Phineas and Ferb Notebook, Band-Aids and much more.

The kiddos have been having such a great time with these items. We all have been dancing around to the music on the CD that includes the songs “Busted”, “Gitchee Gitchee Goo”, and “I Love You Mom”. My kids also have been begging me to let them watch the DVD all the time now. I am O.K. with it though, because I really enjoy the Phineas and Ferb series as well.
As you can see both my kids are completely engrossed in an episode of Phineas and Ferb! Plus, you can see my daughter is holding onto the talking Phineas. 🙂
