Carrabba’s Tag Pic Pac

I just took the Pasta Personality Quiz at Carrabba’s Facebook Page, and my quiz results say that I am comparable to the Carrabba’s Tag Pic Pac.

Apparently Carrabba’s Tag Pic Pac is a classic dish with a tasty twist, perfect for someone who likes to put their own twist on things! It says I’m vivacious with zest for life. And since I like everything in life to be full-flavored, I wont be let down when I taste this tagliarini pasta with Picchi Pacchiu sauce.
Vivacious, Zest for Life, Twist on things. Ask my husband and he will say “That sounds about right.” 🙂

Social Moms and Carrabba’s Italian Grill have teamed up to have mom bloggers like myself bring you an entertaining and engaging new blogging program to share The Pasta Personality Quiz and, Our Family’s Favorite Pasta Recipe!

Well now that you know my pasta personality, I would like to share with you Our Favorite Pasta Recipe.

Actually, we have 2 favorite pasta recipes that I prepare. I make a very colorful pasta salad that I tend to take to many of our family get togethers. It doesn’t spoil easily since it does not contain mayo and, it is also really easy to put together. I had originally tasted a version of it that a friend of my mom’s makes, but I put my own little twist on it.

Then, there is my Lasagna. My husband loves it. I make it the way my mom prepared it when I was little. And again, it is a very easy recipe to prepare.

Here are the instructions for both:

Carlee’s Pasta Salad

What you will need:

Tri Color Pasta
Italian Dressing
Cherry Tomatoes
Black Olives

String Cheese

Directions:
Cook Tri Color Pasta according to directions, Then Chill. Once chilled, add Italian Dressing to Perferred Taste. Then add halved Cherry Tomotoes, Quartered Black Olives, and String cheese cut into small pieces. Chill and Serve. (You can add additional veggies like cucumbers, peppers, onion, carrots, whatever you desire.)

Betty’s Lasagna

What you will need:

1lb of Ground Beef
Standard Bottle of Pasta Sauce
Lasagna Noodles
Full Size Bag of Shredded Monzarella

Directions:

Cook a 1lb of ground beef and combine it with a bottle of your favorite Pasta Sauce, let it simmer on the stove on low. Cook any brand of Lasagna Noodles. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Once the noodles are cooked, pour a little bit of sauce in the bottom of a caserole dish, and put the first layer of noodles down.  Then put a layer of Monzarella on top, put the next layer of noodles on top, then repeat with cheese.  Do this until the noodles are gone.  Then pour the remaining sauce on top. Cook in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.  5 minutes before you remove the caserole from the oven add any remaining cheese on the top. Let it sit for five minutes. Cut into pieces and serve. It will be hot so be careful!

As you can see, these dishes are very easy to put together, and they also contain items that you can usually pick up on sale at the Grocery Store. Hope you enjoy them, and I would love it if you would share your own as well!

Also, have you taken the Carabba’s Pasta Personality Quiz yet. Take the quiz to see how your personality compares to some of Carrabba’s signature pasta dishes! CLICK HERE.
