2011 is right around the corner and with that being said, it is time to start making plans and thinking about the things we would like to accomplish in the upcoming year.
TwitterMoms and OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network asked bloggers like myself to write a blog on the topic “Tell us about exciting changes in your life, new possibilities you hope for in the new year and any new plans you have in the works”
There are so many exciting things that happened in 2010, that I am really looking forward to 2011.
First off, we put house on the market last month, and obviously with the way the economy is I didn’t expect the house to sell quickly, but I can always hope for that result. My husband and I have been working on the house to get it ready, I staged it for pictures, and the Realtor took some really great photos. We have our first showing on Monday, and I am hopeful that we will receive some good feedback. I am looking forward to checking out homes in our price range and hopefully moving into one of them in 2011.
Second, I am still rather new to blogging, and everyday I learn something new. I have have been meeting some really nice people through blogging, and I have increased my knowledge about many different subjects while searching the Internet for content. I guess what I look forward to in regards to my blog in 2011 is increasing my followers, improving my content, and making my site even more user friendly.
Third, my son is in school now and my daughter just turned 2. I am really looking forward to getting out with her more in 2011 and participating in mommy/ daughter type activities. We have an annual membership to Busch Gardens, but recently purchased memberships to Sunken Gardens, Great Explorations a children museum, and I bought a couple of sessions to Bounce U, a children’s activity center with bounce houses. I can’t wait to get out with her and see her experience all these things. As a second child, she doesn’t always get as much attention as I would like, so in 2011 she gets to have fun.
Finally, I look forward to seeing my children grow and learn in 2011. Everyday is a new experience for them both, and I am just glad that I am fortunate enough to stay at home with them to see these changes. The possibilites are endless for them in 2011. I can’t wait to see what happens.
