Review and Giveaway – PartyLite Candles!

disclosure-for-site

October 19, 2010 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 1 Comment

Tiffany Davies from PartyLite contacted me asking if I would be interested in reviewing some of her candles on At Home Moma.  I was like OF COURSE, because PartyLite candles smell great and the company has a great reputation for quality products.

Tiffany sent me a 6 Pack of Leaves of Fun Votive Candles and a Tropical Waterfall Mini Barrel Jar Candle to try.

As soon as I opened the boxes, these wonderful fragrances started flowing into my home. I put out the Leaves of Fun Votive Candles immediately. They are a light orange color and their fragrance reminds me of fall. Now, when I come into my house, I immediately think about Halloween and Thanksgiving.

The Tropical Waterfall Mini Barrel reminded me of the beach.  It has a cool blue tone and the smell is fresh and crisp.  It would be perfect in the bathroom or a laundry room.  Plus, if I need a reminder of summer, I can just pick up the candle and enjoy the aroma.

Here is a little information about Tiffany Davies and PartyLite:

Tiffany is a Marketing Director by day and a Independent PartyLite consultant by night. She is happily married and has four children (2,4,6,8). She started working with PartyLite, because even though she and her husband both work, their kids activities (piano lessons, soccer, dance, etc) and preschool are costly, She needed a part time job where she could set her own schedule and get her “me” time. She enjoys socializing with other adults, ladies, moms, etc and by working PartyLite shows, she get the best of both worlds – she makes money and has fun doing it!

PartyLite began its journey as a company when in 1905, Mabel Kimball, a New England schoolteacher and entrepreneur, began to make candles from the bayberries on Cape Cod. Her initial goal was simply to make bayberry candles for her friends and family as Christmas gifts. Her friends loved them and insisted that she make more.

Mabel’s business grew and flourished for years as Colonial Candle of Cape Cod. In 1973, Colonial Candle of Cape Cod set up PartyLite Gifts, Inc. to sell excess inventory of candles from their factory and gift shop.

In 1990, Blyth, Inc. acquired both Colonial Candle of Cape Cod and PartyLite. Under the leadership of Bob Goergen, Chairman, CEO and President, Blyth believed in and invested in PartyLite, playing a key role in supporting their phenomenal domestic and international growth. Today, PartyLite’s candles, fragrance options and home accents are sold by more than 50,000 Consultants worldwide.

PartyLite is a proud member of the Direct Selling Association (D.S.A.), the national trade association of the leading firms that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers. Source PartyLite.

Too bad I am in Canada. I am a huge fan of Partylite and my house is filled with only their products.
