Cheap Way to Organize Your Drawers! Upcycling Plastic Containers! 1

Do you ever find that junk drawer in your kitchen getting absolutely out of control and you don’t want to spend money on a drawer organizer? Here is a Cheap Way to Organize Your Drawers.

Cheap Way to Organize Your Drawers! Upcycling Plastic Containers!

Here you can see my junk drawer completely out of control.

Well here is a simple way to utilize those containers that luncheon meat come in or extra plastic containers that might be missing lids. This also helps you throw away trash or donate the things that you really don’t need any longer. And, it is a green way to organize and upcycle.

Here it is organized with the plastic containers.  Not as junkie 🙂

As you can see, this is fairly easy to implement.  I simply placed like things together in containers. So items like tape and glue went in one, batteries in another,  and another box might contain twist ties or clips for chips.

Here is a make-up drawer I organized a while back.

The best part was being able to find these things easier and knowing I did not have to spend any money to organize it.

Hope you can utilize this organizational tool in  your own household.

Another awesome way is to use old cereal boxes and make little divider trays that you can decorate with either scrapbook paper or washi tape or both... They're really easy and it's fun to see what all kind of things you can make out of the old boxes. I even made a few pretty magazine holders for my book shelves.

I always seem to end up with just lids and no bottoms for my containers. Alas. This is a great use of the containers and definitely makes it more organized!
