I have been trying to keep my kids busy over the summer and we are limited on the outside activity that we can do since it is sooooo hot now. I needed to find something to occupy their time so this is what I have come up with.
Everyday I have been picking a letter of the alphabet and the choosing some type of number activity whether it be an actual number, counting, or addition.
Then I include both kids in the learning process.
Here is the letter H.
H is for Heart, Hats, Hands, Hot Air Balloons.
We talk about the how each word begins with the letter H and what it sounds like.
Then I write the H down and let my son who is 4 practice writing it. My 19 month old just gets a paper with H’s on it and Hearts since it starts with H.
After that, I found coloring books that had characters wearing hats and let them both color for while.
Then we read a Book. Here was our choice: My Two Hands, My Two Feet
After that we worked on addition and we used the Hot Air Balloon page 117 from the
And we did all of this while wearing Hats. The kids absolutely loved it and I had fun also.
H is for Happy!!!
