Thanks to Betty Crocker and MyBlogSpark, I was sent 3 varieties of Shake-N-Pour Dessert Mixes to review here on Frugal and Fun Mom.
Shake-N-Pour Dessert Mixes come in 3 varieties including Chocolate Brownie, Confetti Cupcake, and Chocolate Cupcake. They can be found in the baking aisle at your local grocers and have Box Tops for Education!
My family tried the Brownies, and the Confetti Mix. They were really easy to make by simply adding water, shaking, pouring and then baking! Plus, they taste great!
I think the Shake-N-Pour Dessert Mixes are really convenient because they only required water. In addition, clean up is so much easier, since there is no need to mix in a bowl with a spoon. Less cleaning means more time I can do other things.
My kids thought this was so much fun. They enjoyed shaking the mix and my son felt all grown-up pouring for me.
FYI, if you use a different size baking pan or a baking stone, you may have to adjust the time and make sure you check it with a tooth pick. I had to do this with both mixes.
Of course the best part for my kids was decorating the cupcakes with icing and, taste testing them as they did it. I did not mind eating the cupcakes either, they were delicious!
