Are you someone who is interested in adding more plant based snacks with protein into your diet?

Depending upon if you are an athlete trying to build muscle, someone who is trying to lose weight, or just wanting more protein in your life, finding the right foods is one of the steps in supporting those goals.
Personally I have been trying to tone as well as lose weight during this past year. I am sure you have heard the phrase before that Proteins are the Building Blocks of the body, so by adding more into my diet I can help to achieve those changes. This is actually a great article from Healthline on the subject.
Happy Little Plants Protein Puffs are plant based and have 16 grams of Protein along with a range of only 10 to 12 grams of carbohydrates, dependent upon the flavor.

They are also gluten free, low in sugar, and have no preservatives. I was sent a Protein Puff variety pack that included Nacho Cheese, Ranch, and Cinnamon Flavor to try out.
Especially coming out of the holidays, I will really need to get refocused on my goals and do better snacking. I have already been limiting my carbs, eating meat without bread, and adding in more eggs and nuts.
However, it does get tough in between meals to keep on the right track.

Now for some background, I have had protein bars in the past and the texture and flavor are obviously different from a regular granola bar. I was expecting to experience something similar with these snacks.
After taste testing the Happy Little Plants Protein Puffs, I would say that Ranch and Nacho are a close 1st in my preferred flavors. Just like my comparison with the protein bars, they are plant based so it is not the same as snacking on crackers or a chips, the puffs do have a different flavor.
However, after trying the puffs a few times my palette has started to adjust to the difference.

FYI, if you are looking for a sweet option be aware that the Cinnamon Flavor is strong. I actually tried it as a cereal with a 1/2 cup of Sweetened Vanilla Almond Milk and it was much better that way.
My children actually preferred these puffs over the other flavors when they tried them in Almond Milk, dairy milk, as well no fat vanilla yogurt.
Now don’t just take my word for it, I highly suggest going to the Happy Little Plants Amazon Reviews to see what others have to say about the flavors.

If you need to curb hunger and are trying to keep on track with health or fitness goals, this is a snack that can help you do that. To learn more about the brand, visit happylittleplants.com.
