I don’t know about your kids, but mine are huge fans of the Disney Channel and when I was asked to announce the upcoming launch of the brand NEW 24-hour Disney Junior Channel, I was really excited!
The NEW Disney Junior Channel will showcase all of the favorite Disney Junior shows you are already familiar with, but will be available throughout the day. This will definitely come in handy during the late afternoon hours when mom is trying to make dinner and the kiddos need an educational and entertaining distraction. The NEW Disney Junior Channel will launch in early 2012.
And speaking of my kids being huge fans, Jake and the Never Land Pirates Holiday Episode will premier Friday December 2, 2011 at 8:30-9:00am ET/PT. My kids and I got a chance to see an advanced showing of the episode titled “It’s A Winter Never Land” and it was a great episode that left us all in the holiday spirit.
In this episode, Jake and his pals Izzy and Cubby get to have a Winter Treasure day with gifts from Peter Pan and celebrate with Hook and his crew plus, they get invited to a Winter Treasure Hunt.
Jake and the Never Land Pirates is cables #1 series for Boys 2-5 since its launch, and is among one of the most co-viewed preschool series, with 45% of moms watching with their preschoolers. We girls are fans as well because my daughter and I actually watched the Pirate Rock Day event on the Disney Channel today. Keep an eye out in January, because season two will start along with a 45-minute series special.
