Clean Produce with Arm & Hammer Fruit and Vegetable Wash!

disclosure-for-site

June 7, 2021 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 33 Comments

The following post is sponsored by Arm & Hammer Fruit and Vegetable Wash. Opinions expressed are that of my own.

See what the benefits are when you clean produce with Arm & Hammer Fruit and Vegetable Wash!

Arm & Hammer Fruit and Vegetable Wash

Are pesticides and waxy coatings a concern of yours when it comes to produce?

Not only is it important to have a balanced diet of fruit and vegetables, but also important to make sure that the foods you are eating are at their best.

Arm & Hammer Fruit and Vegetable Wash safely eliminate Pesticides*, Wax and Soil with simple ingredients like baking soda, salt and plant-derived cleaning agents. It is also the first food-contact product to get the Safer Choice† certification!

Arm & Hammer Fruit and Vegetable Wash

If you’re only rinsing your produce with water, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is clean.

With a few simple steps you can see and feel more confident that you are removing unwanted substances off of fruits and vegetables.

I used Arm & Hammer Fruit & Vegetable Wash on cucumbers, grapes, and strawberries. After spraying each item and following the directions, I could tell a difference.

This was apparent in the feel of the cucumbers and the appearance of the grapes.

As for the strawberries, when I picked them up I could see the residue of the dirt below. (I could also see where I missed on the grapes after they dried.)

To use Arm & Hammer Fruit and Vegetable Wash, simply spray, rub, rinse for cleaner produce. FYI, it is recommended that once you spray the produce, to let it stand for 15 minutes and then gently rub the produce and rinse under water.

Tip: Put loose berries in a colander and run your fingers through them to clean them.

As for larger items, place them on a surface like a bowl or a cutting board in or over a sink to limit the reach of the spray.

I asked my kids what they thought of the taste of the fruits and they said they were fine. As for the cucumbers, they tasted like cucumbers should after being sprayed and rinsed.

About Safer Choice:

The EPA offers the Safer Choice label to company partners who design or reformulate quality products that perform well and contain the safest chemical ingredients. It helps consumers find products that perform and are safer for human health and the environment.

Products with the Safer Choice label must demonstrate being effective, while only using ingredients that are safer for families. Look for Arm & Hammer Fruit & Vegetable Wash in store and online HERE.

What type of produce would you use this product on?

It is really nice to have produce cleaned and ready to go for snacks and meals. Fruits and veggies are less likely to go to waste if they are washed and out for my kids.
