If you and your family are also in love with the Disney + Series, The Mandalorian then you will enjoy this Baby Yoda Craft Made With An Egg Carton!

Ever since my family saw the first episode of this Star Wars story, we have been obsessed with Baby Yoda. Do you blame us though? He is absolutely adorable.

Well now that we have finished watching all of the episodes from the first season, we want all things Baby Yoda to fill in the void until season 2 comes out.

Baby Yoda Craft

Just like most of the crafts that I create with the kiddos, I look around at what I already have on hand. It just so happened that I had Egg Cartons that were destined to be dropped off at the Publix Recycle bin.

After recently testing out Acrylic Paint on this surface for another activity, I could visualize the egg sections as little Baby Yoda heads.

Baby Yoda Craft

If you would like to recreate this Baby Yoda Craft, this is what you will need for supplies:

-Empty Egg Carton

–Grasshopper Green Acrylic Paint

-Paint Brush

-Container for the paint

-Safety Scissors

-Craft Stick

-Brown Construction Paper

-Glue

-Black Permanent Marker

Directions:

To get started with the Baby Yoda Craft Made With An Egg Carton, first paint the Egg Carton with the acrylic paint. Allow this to completely dry.

Tip: Acrylic Paint dries pretty quick, so it should be ready after an hour or so.

Once dry, cut out a couple sections of the egg carton. Take one of the shapes and even out the bottom for the head of Baby Yoda.

Then, take 2 other sections and cut out triangle shapes for the Baby Yoda Ears.

Next up, cut a half inch slit in each side of the egg carton shape. Then, do the same on the tops of the ears.

Tip: Lay the ears down next to where they will be place on the egg shape and cut the half inch slits to make sure they are lined up in the right spot.

Then, slide the slits in the ears into the slits on the side of the head shape. Once the ears have been put into place, make any necessary cuts if they are too large.

Then, draw your Baby Yoda face, place dab of glue on top of the craft stick, and lay the head on top of this.

Next, cut a thin piece of brown construction paper out an shape this into clothing for Baby Yoda and glue to the craft stick.

Lay this over the remainder of the Egg Carton so the Baby Yoda head can set with the glue.

Once completely dry, you then have an adorable Baby Yoda Craft that can be used as a puppet, or even a Bookmark.

I think Baby Yoda is so cute! This would be a fun craft for the older kids at my daughter's day care.
