Are you contemplating what to do with the kiddos now that they are getting out for summer vacation?
Personally I plan on staying at home for part of our break and that means we will be playing board games, swimming, and eating on our patio. Of course once my children head outside I want to encourage them to hang out there as long as it is comfortable.

Making that part of our home user friendly is a must to encourage my family to spend quality time outside. After brainstorming ideas to help make that happen, today I am sharing my Tips To Creating An Outdoor Living Space.
Shade and Cover-
We live in Florida and during the summer months it starts to heat up, plus we have plenty of afternoon showers.
To help keep the festivities going, it is important to put up table umbrellas as well as an extension over the Outdoor Living Space to keep the area cooler. It also helps to have water bottles and snacks nearby.
Fans or Heaters-
To help air circulate, outdoor fans are a must.
For areas that get cooler in the evenings, a fireplace or fire fit would be an excellent idea (plus the fire would come in handy for making S’mores.)

Entertainment –
If you didn’t already know, watching TV outside is fun! Having a Weatherproof TV built for full-shade outdoor living areas like the SunBriteTV Veranda series is an excellent way to watch cartoons, sports, or to host an outdoor movie night. My kids would love this!
Look for the SunBriteTV Veranda Series with 4K UHD and HDR at Best Buy available in 43”, 55”, 65” and 75” sizes.
Outdoor Lighting –
Just because the sun has gone down doesn’t mean that the fun times have to end.
Give your Outdoor Living Space a homey feel by adding lamps, wall mounted light fixtures, or Tiki Torches around the perimeter. (FYI exposed fire may not always be a good option for young children and pets.)

Comfortable Seating-
If you want to give family a reason to hang out a little longer, be sure to provide them with comfortable cushions and pillows.
Simply add all weather fabrics to chairs to create a comfortable outdoor living space. Plus, be sure to have side tables nearby so family can relax with drinks and snacks.
