BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Inspired Recipes and Limited Edition Soup Pot at Williams Sonoma!

disclosure-for-site

March 15, 2017 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 5 Comments

I had an opportunity to attend an event at Williams Sonoma to explore BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Inspired Recipes. A special thank you goes out to Walt Disney Studios for providing press materials as well as sponsoring my trip and accommodations to the Be Our Guest Event. Opinions expressed are that of my own.

A trip to Los Angeles to celebrate BEAUTY AND THE BEAST would not have been complete, without visiting the Beverly Hills Williams Sonoma to try recipes and create a Rose Paper craft inspired by the film.

Well I got to experience this yummy and informative workshop alongside 24 other bloggers, and I must say that I enjoyed every moment of diving into the dishes.

To begin our experience, we sampled Rose and Strawberry Lemonade created by one of the on staff Chefs.

❤ THIS! I am in love with this Beauty and the Beast Le Creuset Cookware and just think of all the wonderful things that can be prepared in it. Maybe some Soup de Jour or Meat Ragu, endless possibilities! #BeOurGuestEvent #MyWilliamsSonoma #FunLearningLife . . . . . . @williamssonoma #mediaevent #livecolorfully #thatsdarling #thehappynow #flashesofdelight #petitejoys #livethelittlethings #liveauthentic #nothingisordinary #finditliveit #howyouglow #colorventures #thatcolorproject #momswithcameras #taleasoldastime #DisneyPrincess #BeautyandTheBeast #DisneyFan #Belle #InstaDisney #DisneyLove #DisneyFamily #beautifulplace #Traveler #Travelgram #VisitLosAngeles

We then observed a Meat Ragu cooking demonstration as well as checked out the Limited Edition, enameled cast iron Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot. (FYI, the stainless-steel knob has a gold metallic finish that is engraved with “Be Our Guest”, IT IS GORGEOUS)

While we watched Meat Ragu being prepared, I came across this amazing looking Apple Rose creation.

It was tempting to grab a piece, but at the same time they almost looked to pretty to eat.

It was then time to taste test! Look at that beautiful Meat Ragu plated below.

Next up was the Soup DeJour and it had such an interesting flavor I had never experienced before. See how to recreate this recipe at Soup Dejour Recipe courtesy of Le Creuset.

Finally we tried the Cheese Souffle, and I have to admit that it was my favorite of the BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Inspired Recipes prepared. See the “HOW TO” at Cheese Souffle Recipe courtesy of Le Creuset.

As we taste tested the BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Inspired Recipes, we also attended a Paper Flower Workshop facilitated by Sara Kim of handmadebysarakim.com. Between card stock, a glue gun, and a little determination we each walked away with our very own handmade rose.

This was such a delicious and fun experience at Williams Sonoma and I would love to attend one of their cooking classes locally or take my kids to Junior Chef Classes in the future. Look for more events like this in your area, by visiting Culinary Events an Classes at Williams Sonoma.

❤ Today I not only made an Enchanted Paper Rose at Williams Sonoma, but I got to create a ton of amazing memories with a great group of people! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring at the #BeOurGuestEvent! #MyWilliamsSonoma #FunLearningLife . . . . . . @WilliamsSonoma #mediaevent #livecolorfully #thatsdarling #thehappynow #flashesofdelight #petitejoys #livethelittlethings #liveauthentic #nothingisordinary #finditliveit #howyouglow #colorventures #thatcolorproject #momswithcameras #taleasoldastime #DisneyPrincess #BeautyandTheBeast #DisneyFan #Belle #InstaDisney #DisneyLove #DisneyFamily #beautifulplace #Traveler #Travelgram #VisitLosAngeles #redrose

ABOUT DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST:

The story and characters audiences know and love come to spectacular life in the live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic “Beauty and the Beast,” a stunning, cinematic event celebrating one of the most beloved tales ever told. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a Beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart of the true Prince within.

The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s father; Josh Gad as LeFou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Ewan McGregor as Lumière, the candelabra; Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Audra McDonald as Madame de Garderobe, the wardrobe; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, the feather duster; Hattie Morahan as the enchantress; and Nathan Mack as Chip, the teacup; with Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.

Directed by Bill Condon based on the 1991 animated film, “Beauty and the Beast,” the screenplay is written by Stephen Chbosky and Evan Spiliotopoulos and produced by Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman, p.g.a. and Todd Lieberman, p.g.a. with Jeffrey Silver, Thomas Schumacher and Don Hahn serving as executive producers.

Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards® (Best Original Score and Best Song) for the animated film, provides the score, which includes new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and Howard Ashman, as well as three new songs written by Menken and Tim Rice. Celine Dion will also perform the Original Song called “How Does a Moment Last Forever”.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST OPENS IN THEATRES EVERYWHERE ON MARCH 17TH, 2017!

You can never go wrong with any piece from Le Creuset, but this one is especially gorgeous! I love that it incorporates the movie theme perfectly without seeming too childish.

I love the fun colors that Le Creuset comes in and that blue is my favorite. Maybe I can ask my husband to surprise me with it? Think that would work?
