Are you planning your party and dishes for the “Big Game”? If so, I have an easy Bacon and Vegetables Pasta Salad Recipe that is both filling and delicious.
The success of this recipe is definitely having the right seasonings, so first a trip was needed to be made up to Publix to pick up a container of Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch Dressing. Hubby was sweet enough to offer go to the store for me while out running errands, so before he left I handed him a list of ingredients, as well as where to find the dressing in the Produce Area.
Naturally Fresh carries products made with wholesome ingredients like aged bleu cheese, buttermilk, or real herbs like basil and black pepper. Their dips and dressings do not contain artificial thickeners, artificial preservatives, or artificial colors or flavors.
In addition to the Classic Ranch Dressing, Naturally Fresh also carries a Lite Ranch, Bleu Cheese, and Lite Bleu Cheese.
Bacon and Vegetables Pasta Salad Recipe – Serves 10 or more
Ingredients:
1 – 16 oz Box of Corkscrew Noodles
Olive Oil
Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch Dressing
6 Pieces of Cooked Bacon
1 – 6.5 oz Can of Sliced Olives
1 Large Cucumber
1 Cup of Carrots
Directions:
In advance prepare a 16 box of Corkscrew Noodles. Place that in the fridge to cool in a large bowl.
Then cook 6 slices of Bacon. Crumble 4 pieces and set the other 2 aside.
Next, chop up 1 large cucumber into small pieces (I made it into fourths and then chopped) and chop up the carrots as well.
Then, remove the pasta from the fridge, add a tbsp of olive oil, and stir to separate. Next, add the bacon, cucumber, carrots, drained olives, and 8 tablespoons of Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch Dressing. Stir and completely combine.
Crumble the 2 remaining pieces of bacon and use that as a garnish on top. Keep refrigerated, FYI leftovers are just as YUMMY!
To make this dish even more festive, you could add decorative toothpick flags on top. I found mine at local party store.
