Tutorial -TP Roll Monsters! An Easy Halloween Craft With Toilet Paper Cardboard Tubes!

Wanting to create a fun homemade Halloween project using items that you have on hand?

Toilet paper cardboard tubes are something I have an endless supply of, so after some thought my kids and I decided to turn them onto TP Roll Monsters.

If you would like to recreate this project, you will need the following:

– Left over cardboard from TP Rolls or Paper Towels

– Colorful Construction Paper

– Wiggle Eyes

– Glue or Paste

– Scissors

– Pipe Cleaners AKA Fuzzy Sticks

(Looking for any of these supplies? Check your local dollar store, or craft stores like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby).

Directions:

First, glue construction paper to the outside of a TP Roll to completely cover it. Cut off any excess and let this dry.

TIP: I suggest gluing the construction paper on the rolls in advance before you start the craft with your child.

For monster hair, roll the fuzzy sticks around a pencil until it forms a coil. You can also make a fuzzy stick look like witches broom.

From the construction paper cut out mouths, faces, teeth, witches hats, or anything you could decorate the monsters with. If you are looking for another easy Halloween craft check out Egg Carton Spiders.

Set out these items along with glue and let your child/ children’s imagination soar! Once all the parts are glued on, allow the Toilet Paper Roll Monsters to dry completely.

Tip: For a Mummy cut out strips of white paper, place the eyes first on first, and glue on the “bandages”.

Do you make a similar craft with your family? What supplies do you use?
