I prepared this on the stove for both my son and me to share last week, and it is rich and delicious. As my son stated, “It is so chocolatey!”.
FYI, if we didn’t have time to prepare it on the stove, it could also be made via the microwave. Simply heat the milk up, and then add the powdered mix.
This product is more expensive compared to what I would typically pay for everyday Hot Cocoa at home, but I think that is precisely the point of the Ghirardelli product. This is meant to be a higher end decadence, and would make a great addition to this year’s holiday gifts, or a treat you give yourself.
If I went out to a gourmet coffee shop, I would pay more than triple per serving for this type of dessert beverage.
