Rubbermaid LunchBlox Kit Review! An Environmentally Friendly, BPA FREE, Easy Way to Pack Your Child’s Lunch for School!

Thanks to Rubbermaid, I was sent a LunchBlox Sandwich Kit to review here on Frugal and Fun Mom. The timing could not have been any better to receive this product since we were just finishing up our back to school shopping. We were thinking about what and how we would be packing my son’s lunches, and the thanks to the LunchBlox Sandwich Kit, packing lunches just got easier and simpler.

So what exactly is a LunchBlox Sandwich Kit?

This kit consists of modular containers that snap together inorder to save space in your lunch bag. It includes a specially designed Blue Ice pack that works with LunchBlox containers to keep lunches chilled.  The containers are perfectly portioned for lunch foods commonly carried away from home.

The LunchBlox Sandwich Kit includes a sandwich container sized for regular and specialty breads, two snack containers (perfect for yogurt or nuts) and a snack container (perfect for fruits, vegetables and chips).

LunchBlox  are microwave, dishwasher, and freezer-safe and BPA-free.

In order to test this product out, I used my sons lunch box from last year made by Thermos and packed my kids a picnic lunch to enjoy in our front yard. I was able to pack a sandwich, watermelon, carrots, and crackers.  It was enough for both my 3 year old and 6 year old to share.

In addition, I was able to fit napkins and two juice boxes in as well. Plus, I could have added a granola bar or a package of cookies with room to spare.
What I really like about this product is,  it saves space in the lunch box,  it can be used over and over again, which is great for the environment, and the fact that it is BPA free. The LunchBlox Sandwich Kit typically retail at $12.99.

So glad to see a Mom's review of this product, I saw this at the store recently and was very tempted to buy it. I'm thinking I have to pick it up now! My daughter is going to first grade this year and will be taking her lunch, this seems perfect! Thanks for letting me know it is worth the money!

Chrissy, I want to pick up an extra one, so that way I can alternate them each day.
